Ham & Cheddar Quiche

From Gooseberry Patch Co's Christmas in the Country

9-inch pie crust
1 c. cooked ham, diced
1 c. shredded cheddar cheese
2 eggs
1/2 pt. half-and-half
1 t. onion powder
1/2 t. salt
1/8 t. pepper

Line unbaked pie crust with aluminum foil; bake aqt 400* for 5 minutes. Remove foil & bake an additional 5 minutes. Arrange ham & cheese in crust, set aside. Whisk together eggs, half-and-half, onion powder, salt, & pepper; pour over cheese. Cover edges of pie crust with foil B& bake at 400* for 35-40 mihnutes, until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean. Let stand 5-10 minutes before cutting/serving.

This is the most delicious, easy breakfast EVER! It is supposed to serve 6 but Drew & I finished the entire thing ourselves on Christmas morning! Hope you enjoy it as much as we did! :)
